Jetflash trouble

i recently bought a Transcend 128mb usb drive thingy... you know, the portable one's that are the size of your thumb... anyway, i was using it for the last 2 weeks with no problems, then one day i used it inthe morning and about 2 hours later when i went to use it again, the second that i plugged it in i got a blue screen of death... fatal exception 05 occurred at 0028: D375077D. i've totally uninstalled the drivers and everything and then reinstalled everything, that didn't work. i uninstalled everything again and downloaded a driver from the transcend website and that didn't work, all it got me was a new blue screen...
fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028: D3800005

i do not understand!!! i am running windows 98SE.
it works completely fine on any other computer i try it on.
any help would be just fantastic

have you tried a different USB port?
