Jetico Firewall and Sygate

    Can someone who has used the jetico firewall please tell me if its the same as sygate firewall. I mean in sygate u have the option of having a program ask you each time it wants to connect to internet, does jetico have the same option?

    I tried Jetico and it will give you more pop-ups that you ever wanted to see. It's not ready for primetime IMO as it's quite time consuming to set it up. I'll stick to Zone Alarm.

    too bad sygate wont work on vista, i know we are kinda limited so far for firewalls on vista so i'm using norton (i know) until something comes along. But i really want something that works like sygate

    Comodo firewall is good and its free. check it out man.

    User is using Vista as in post above yours they mention this, does Comodo work yet in Vista? ( caveat: it may do later this month, when they release a compatible version, albiet you can force its install but it doesnt uninstall correctly if you dont like it )
