Jetico Personal Firewall operation

I recently installed Jetico personal firewall. I'm having to click a lot to allow things each time I use my computer. For my AVST AV, I have to click to allow each time the AV uses a different port. Is this normal? How do I lessen the frequency of this? Should I use a different firewall instead?

 

I have Windows XP SP 3, My JPF version is 2.0.2.8.2327. I think this is the most recent. I just downloaded it a few days ago. My application filter is currently set to learning mode for "direct network services", "indirect network services" and "network communications". How long should I leave it in learning mode?

The attacker C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe is RealNetworks Scheduler. Should I allow this process?

The link provided for JPF2 guide didn't work, but I just finished reading a lot of the JPF help guide. Thanks for the advice.

I would personally uninstall the jetico firewall and download and install zonealarm firewall it's a better program and you dont have to keep clicking on remembering all the time.
