My wife has an older PC with this Jetway Mainboard. I bought a 2 port USB card for it that basically plugged into what is marked USB on the motherboard. I then downloaded the latest BIOS and went to the configuration screen and can see where the USB controller is disabled, but I see no way to enable it. Any clues?

    thanks..

Make sure you have the cables the right way, if you don't it's very likely you will short the motherboard.

Have you tried using the USB ports anyway?

I take it that what you got is a Pin header, not the PCI card.
I'm not sure what the price difference in the states, but here there is only a couple of dollars between the PCI card, and the Pin Header. The PCI Card is alot easier to setup & use.

Thanks for the input, I think I will get the PCI card, sounds much easier. This machine wont even detect the Pin Headers...

If the device is showing to be disabled, go to Device Manager, locate the device ( it should have a red x ) , right click on it, and in the window that pops up, click enable. :)
