Hi. I've purchased a "3 in 1 Joy Box", a converter for Dreamcast, Saturn, and Playstation controllers for PC. I'm having an issue with the way the converter reads the analog triggers on either side of the Dreamcast controller. The left trigger appears in the Game Controllers dialog as "Z Axis" and is on completely. The right trigger appears as "Z Rotation" and is also completely on. For games, this is a nusance because most driving games will inturpret the right trigger's position as depressed completely. (Gas is floored). There is no software for this device and Windows XP seemed to have no problems using it.

Is there some software that can reoritent the axis or perhaps a way to hack a driver file into reporting it differently?

    Thanks,

    Ariqu

Try calibrating the device. In Control Panel there should be a Gaming Options or Game Controllers section. Open that, select your controler, and go to properties. I think that's where it is (this machine has no game controllers).

I have tried to calibrate it but all that happens when I try to change the triggers is the range is split in half.
