Joystick Throttle problem

I just received my Logitech Extreme 3d Pro today. I installed the logitech profiler and downloaded the drivers. When I go in game into Battlefield:Vietnam, i enter in everything fine, but when it asks for the speed up and speed down, i click, move the throttle up, but nothing happens. I went to the calibration screen in the control panel, and it seems to work fine. Also in the logitech profiler it does not seem to make an arrow if i move the throttle (if you press a button it makes an arrow pointing to the button and that points to the key assignment). I'm wondering if you guys can help me?
