I just set this computer up today, it's a brand new Dell Dimension 3000. Before this, I had a total POS computer, (we're talking really, really bad) and for some reason it seems like the internet worked better on my old one. I'm using the same wireless USB network adapter, cable, as I did on the old one. I'm trying to do the same stuff I did before, listen to streaming radio, watch videos, and it keeps BUFFERING. Like every two seconds, and it takes forever to get back to the music or video. Also, downloading any programs seems to be taking much longer than usual. I disabled McAffee, thinking maybe some firewall or something was doing it, but it is the same. Can anyone help?

    First things first...

    DELL SUCK.

Service Pack 2 might be the problem (that's if you got it), The end server also makes a difference... are you streaming from the same server? the server might have bandwith issues due to to many users or something along the lines of that.

Umm... What do you use to stream your files?
Try using another program and see if it makes a difference.
