Just Checking In - Compuable

Just stopped to say hello again! All is well. I have been away for a while, but still wanted to check in.
The program that I attend lets me use their computers so I just wanted to say hi ​

it's been years since i visited this site too and hope i'm posting in the right area as far as introductions... if not, excuse this old fart, so guess i'll make this a short intro and hope it's not too boring...
1. i'm a marine corps vet (vietnam era).. so, no; i don't have any "john rambo" war hero stories to blow up your skirt.
2. lost my wife 2 yrs ago to cancer and i'm bored trying to work from home like so many other people today.
3.am now a retired electrical/ instrumentation engineer born and raised in a christian home in corpus christi, texas, so therefore, i am a god-fearing, god-loving christian and don't make any apologies for that and never will. this career was one of many that had me working as a private contractor in nuclear; petrochemical and power plants across america and several foreign countries.
4. after the military, i was hired as a deputy sheriff and resigned because i don't like politics on the job.
5. shortly afterward, i worked as a contract programmer for micro-stoopid(mcrosoft) developing windoze95 and windoze98.
