    Does anyone have any methods of making your computer faster other than
    THESE? And other than removing norton, unless someone knows how to make norton just not run for one user on a family computer. If someone knows how to make it so i can run AVG and other family members can run norton please tell me... I'd be eternally grateful...

    Heh...you could invest in hardware! RAM, CPU, and video card will all benefit your system's performance. I think I've covered about all of the software fixes in that post.

    You might also try visiting the Overclocking Forum to learn how to tweak your existing hardware.
