Just got a HP Pavilion zt1000

ok i just got a hp pavilion zt1000 laptop and im having a few problems here

1. my integrated wireless isnt working, it detected the card, the driver is right but it wont turn on like the button on the side doesnt work and when i got to command prompt and type in ipconig it shows "media disconected"

2. i cannot get the right audio driver for it either, i had to reinstall a fresh copy of windows, ive tried 2 different drivers and neither of them work, anyone know what at least the brand of sound card is so i could go from there, HP doesnt post the drivers on ther site

3. when i unplug it from the wall it just dies, im figuring its just a dead battery but maybe connection or what?

Intel uses ati, amd uses nvidia, what cpu is yours? The battery will only charge while the laptop is on, so if brand new, leave the laptop on till it charges up. Does this laptop have a restore partition or you have to use restore cd's? If you used a restore disk for a desktop there will be a ton of things you need to go get. ed

 

save yourself some trouble and just get it replaced. it is new, isnt it? Ahh the beauty of the RMA.....
