Just got my MIDI keyboard

Just got my M-Audio KeyRig 49 key MIDI keyboard. Here is something I made in FL Studio

Keep in mind I have little music experience. I would call this like an ambient song thing.

I think you need to learn a little more about ambience and dissonance. The first chord would suggest it could be quite ambient...but the second chord completely changes the perception and the mood of the sound. It goes to a diminished chord (I think) which just sounds eerie!

The rest of the piece seems to use mainly minor chords, although I can here a few C Major chords every now and then, and ambient music should make you feel relaxed and comfortable - this makes me feel pretty creeped out!

Also, find yourself some free VST plugins off the net, it sounds very MIDI and computerised.
