found another topic, but it was 2 years old...so i thought i'd post this after posting elsewhere cuz they asked. maybe a little contribution whenever you guys feel like it. here's my first:

about 2 years ago, a friend in the security/emergency response field asked me to create a safety presentation for her about summer heatstroke and this is what i came up with to teach myself how to make a PowerPoint presentation. some of the humorous references may be distinctly American, so feel free to ask me what they are if you just don't get it.

This is NOT the boring safety presentation i eventually created for her. i think it's pretty amusing, even if i do say so myself. note: click to advance each item/screen.

if you have Kingsoft Office, you can use their Presentation program. not sure what the equivalent OpenOffice program is.
