Just looking for some input on this mother board..

Tyan Tiger i7505

I found a review at Tom's Hardware and it seems like a good deal. AAAND since my mother board decided to take a permant dirt nap (another post) I really want to go with a duel cpu rig to ues for modeling, video work and maybe some gaming >EVIL LAUGHTER< .
But I have a silly question can I use one processor until i get the $$ for a second? I am going to need RAM because the 2 gigs I have is not compatable with this board. Eveything else I have should work fine.

I know nothing about this board, but a few years ago I was thinking of dual cpus so I looked into it. I checked out a few boards including a Tyan and at the time you could start with one and upgrade later. Doesn't Tyan have a site you can check to be sure?
