Well, Blaster was so "successful" in the eyes of the lifeless mental mushrooms who launched it that it hardly takes a crystal ball to see that the next wave will follow shortly after the announcement of the vulnerability, and that wave will catch just as many victims as Blaster did, because too many people just don't learn.
