Just started folding

evening gents...just started folding on my laptop and will be setting it up on my rig soon...looking to get some good scores on my rig ive got a GTX260 in that bad boy with a Q9400 OC to 3.2Ghz...anyways im joining the cause and happy to help out

That's a nice desktop you got there! Seeing as you seem familiar with your hardware, I'll say you could get an average of 7K PPD on your GTX260 @1500 shaders as I have one too!

As to your OC'd Q6400, then you should get more than my @ stock speed Q6600 giving me 3.4K PPD using VMWare Player and Ubuntu SMP. Pins all four cores so best to check for heat issues at the same time. Best points around man!

Howdy tjd23 and great to see some new blood in here.

You will love the points the 260 throws. Got 1 myself with shaders @1620 that's a little noisy with the fan @65% but it's sweet on throwing points out.
Crank her up every few days until you throw some EUE (Early Unit End) and then back off. I use Precision for my card controller.
