Just starting programming

I am just starting programming. I have done very little. I have made a program with small basic and a calculator with visual basic. What is the best way for me to learn it? I know it takes time, but I really want to learn. Computers is just something I have been very interested in since I was about 5 playing Escape from Castle Wolfenstein. I know this is kind of a broad question but I would like to really get serious into it.

 

If i were you, id get into some programming classes. Unless youre good at studying on your own, head over to your library and check out some books on the subject.
