just wonderin whats the best download program

just wondering whats the best dwnload program like limewire etc. ?

 

I use Limewire. Use the search tool at the top, its quite useful. There are about five threads about this.

 

oh thnx man, i mean i've tried limewire i mean its good an everything but i cant dwnload a movie without getting a virus so do u know of any other programs?

 

Your welcome to get help here and all, but we can't help you with downloading illegal software and movies, and games. Some I'm afraid that this thread will most likely be closed due to that. Sorry man, but thats just how things work around here.

 

It's not the program you're using. It's what you're downloading that's the problem. No P2P program will change that fact. As long as you're accepting stuff from people you don't know, you are taking a chance. I use Avast antivirus myself, as it has a dedicated P2P download scanner.

@Neo: It's considered impolite in some circles to accuse people you don't know of being crooks. There are legally distributable materials available on P2P networks, after all.

 

First off you should be using a program that is 'spyware free' and next you should have a good anti-virus program. Aside from that you should be aware that downloading copywrighted material is illegal -and that in many countries you can be prosecuted for the offence.
That's not to say that there aren't legitimate and legal uses of this type of software -in fact I'm not making any moral supposition about how such software is used -I'm just stating a few facts.

btw its agood idea to stay away from wmv files stick with avi or mpeg from what I have learned the wmv files are notoriious because someone, anyone can add to these files.
