    Who all here is still around from the 3DFiles days? I changed my SN after Tim sold the site, I was "HueJazz" back on 3DFiles.

    3DFiles.net was a website very similar to this one. I posted a lot on the forum there back around 2000-2001. Now it has been a while, so correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that CNet bought 3DFiles from Tim and shut the site down, and that's when Tim created majorgeeks.com.


    I remember the 3DF name was shunned around here for a while, not sure why. I just think it's cool that Tim built the site, basically sold the name, and started a new site with the same basis and a new name. Props for that one ;).

    Close, was two sites 3DFiles and Tweakfiles, run by both Tim, Philipp and Jim at various stages, Tim and Jim then created Majorgeeks about a year-ish after CNet bought out both sites. (Philipp is code geek for MGs and NTCompatible owner) More of closure

    I was refugee from Tweakfiles.

    I use to be a mod in the old 3dfiles boards

    Also spent long nights in the 3dfiles voice chat and even had a live web cam ;)
