A bit of a long shot - my old JVC DRM-20 recorder died the death of a thousand 'loading's and I have extracted the Maxcrap 80gb drive from it. It has some (not very valuable) MPEG2 video on it but the drive is formatted in a strange 'JVC' way which cannot be read by any OS I can find. Neither Windows or Linus can 'see' the drive and 'Test Disk' cannot read any partitions. Does anyone know how to get the files off it?
