K Lite Full and Windows MCE

Whenever i install the k lite codec pack full, windows media centre refuses to play live tv. remove the pack and it works again. i was wondering if anyone knew which particular codec could be causing it. i have read elsewhere it may be ffdshow, and found some options in the decoder to disable it in certain programs, but i don't know where the .exe for media centre is, if it exists. can anyone help?

i did install it, but according to the default programs menu in windows, wmp has all of its defaults
