K&N recalls intake tubes for Dodges.

Any one that has a Dodge with a K&N intake tube also sold as Mopar Performance Parts needs to take a look. My mothers was on the recall list so anyone with a Dodge needs to check.

WHY WE ARE TAKING THIS ACTION

K&N has discovered that the air delivery tubes in the covered kits, which were produced with either polypropylene or super linear polyethylene, have durability problems that can cause pieces of plastic to break away from the tube. Those pieces of plastic could enter the vehicle engine, where they could possibly cause the throttle to become temporarily jammed in the open position. This could potentially lead to a loss of control, which could result in a crash. Therefore, K&N is offering replacement air delivery tubes made with cross linked high density polyethylene, at no charge.
