Kaspersky Anti-Virus Won't Shutdown

OK here's the problem. I was playing CNC Renegade when the game crashed. When i tried to quit the game, it won't let me into my desktop screen and my pc freezed ( this happens quite a lot of times before because of some settings i changed in the game). I switched off my cpu and then restarted but when i try to run Kaspersky, it says "Kaspersky has been started by another user" , but there's no icon in the system tray. I attempted to shut it (kav.exe and kavsc.exe) with the task manager but it says "access denied" . Now i cant even uninstall the application cause it says "Please make sure you have exited Kaspersky before uninstalling" and its not in my system tray. So theres like no way i can exit, open, or uninstall kaspersky. Thx in advance.
