kaspersky or panda

i cant seem to decide whether to get kaspersky or panda internet security for my computer. both have really good qualities but i hear that kaspersky never comes off of your computer. Is kaspersky really that hard to get rid of when you decide to use something else?

which do you guys think would be better? my dad is also a novice at the whole antivirus thing so which would be easier for him to work?

Well if I was to buy one then I would go Kaspersky over Panda, my pref, but I don't see the need to buy one when many are available freely and are much more easy on system resources, and easier to remove.

But how about this as a guide How to Protect yourself from malware! as it has some great tips on what apps to use to protect yourself.

May have been the case years ago that KAV was hard to remove but these days the installer/uninstaller is better, equally Panda can be a pain in the butt to fully remove as can all the security all-in-ones.
