    Has anyone having download problems w/ regular KAZAA? Seems lately that most have removed music fm their shared folders. It's not like it used to be where you could download a lot w/o getting notification of "more sources needed". Is paying for Kazaalite correct this? Also, is WINMX having problems with searching music? Seems that site is producing nothing at all.

    I always used Kazaa Lite. It's the same thing just without the ads and spyware. The most likely reason you are having trouble finding enough sources to download music files from is due to RIAA filing the civil lawsuits for illegaly sharing music. RIAA won't be able to completely stop it, but they have already put a huge dent in it. Bottom line........Don't share music and don't download it......cuz...well.....it's illegal. I haven't used WinMX or any other P2P programs other than LimeWire, which I don't like, so I can't comment on those. Be forewarned, if you share or download music, you are waving a red flag and inviting trouble.

    I dont use either of those programs, rubbish!

    I use DC++ ( direct connect ++ )

    search DC++ google.

    Its far better than any kazaa and a lot less traceable. Obviously your ISP's will still track you down, but thats the risk you take with any illegal downloading. You can connect to swedish hubs and have access to Terabytes of information and every program and music song going.

    You need to know what your doing to set it up however.

    I download mostly underground trance / etc which doesnt have licences, so I dont have a problem. When you download chart songs and released songs then its illegal.

    On the plus side, if you buy the CD then the audio files are considered fair use if you make them yourself and don't distribute.

    First off Kazaa lite is free. If you are ever charged for Kazaa or Kazaa lite it is a scam. The only exception is if you purchase the version of Kazaa (provided by Sharman Networks) that doesn't have the spyware or adware for $30.

    This is what make KaZaalite illegal. It is a cracked version of the adware :)p ) Kazaa free. Can't let MG get in trouble here by calling it spyware.:D

    m79vest36: I've had NO problems with Winmx, use it every day. I must respect the forum in regards to not discussing copywright infringement, so I can't discuss it here. Email me for further info.

    Peace,

    Gina
