Am setting up XP Pro for a family friend, and wouldnt u know it, but their 14 old kid likes looking at a lot of porn. The only problem is, hes stupid, and lets them install all kinds of spyware onto the computer, and really f*** it up.

So, I already set his account to limited, but, with XP Pro, is htere anything else I can do so he doesnt have the ability to install anything? This would prevent some of hte super bad spyware which installs itself silently....if he cant install anything, windows wont let the spyware install. Or so goes my thinking.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I am sorry if I am out of line but it dissapoints me to read things of this nature

Well, hes not my kid, so, i dont really have any input onto how they let him use the computer.
Basically, I want his account to not have install permissions, then, itll make my moms friends happy, and i get more free food (lol, they gave me food when i picked up their computer....some steak, chicken, soup, a lot better then what I usually at Uni)

I really dont care if he looks at porn, if he wants to, there are ways of doing it which doesnt turn your computer into a spyware/porn filled POS.

Ya, I checked in computer management, his account is set as user....I seem to remember being able to create my own classes and specifically setting permissions (I did it to my parents, so they couldnt see *my* downloaded porn in my documents....I made them power users, so they couldnt see my documents, but could do everything else.......that was back in the day, lol).
Do you know offhand how to create my own account classes? Id limit the kid as much as possible, he doesnt know jack about proper internet usage, and wonders why the comp gets messed.

Done and done, thanks for the apps.
Ya, I already put spybot and adaware on here....but they wont remember to use them, or get nervous they're deleting something important.
