    At first glance, they seem to be coming from myself. But I get really curious, so I look around, and I find the details tab in the e-mails properties. A few lines that make doubt the mails are not actualy coming from me, are;
    Return-Path: <nexus@cpanel11.fuitadnet.com>
    Received: from cpanel11.fuitadnet.com ([67.15.28.13])
    Received: from nexus by cpanel11.fuitadnet.com with local (Exim 4.34)

    That stuff. I don't know what this means... but I have a cox.net domain, and I don't know where all that cpanel11.fuitadnet.com type stuff is coming from.
    Am I totaly wrong in asuming these e-mails are coming from nexus@cpanel11.fuitadnet.com? I e-mailed and asked, I didn't get an error back saying the e-mail couldent be sent, so it is infact a real address.
    Also, I just got some tonight from a Haxed@haxed.com, and I think it is fairly safe to assume that's a fake domain. The info is still the same for those as I pasted above, or at least it is at first glance. Someone please shed some light on this for me, and If I posted something up there that I shoulden't have, please don't laugh..

    *Also, I did virus scans and all that, came up clean.

    spoofed e-mail is a common thing. If you get e-mail (supposedly from yourself) and you didn't send it, then obviouslyi it is fake and should be deleted. It's childs play to spoof e-mails and such a common thing these days.

    But they keep on comming... and they are getting more frequent. Is there any way to stop it? =\

    There is Nothing you can do about it.

    Your email was picked up somewhere and what ever generates it does it automatically from variety of places. Many of us suffer from this problem for long time.

    You can add a program like MailWasher to the process of reading your mail. MailWasher reads the mail without actually download it and let you erase unneeded mail before you use your email program. It adds an additional step to reading email, but adds security and save time in the long run.

    MailWasher has freeware and a more powerful is Shareware version both are available on Major Geeks download: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4230

    This one is a similar free program: http://www.artplus.hr/adapps/eng/xterminator.htm

    Someone you know (or may not) has a virus infected PC. Your email address was picked up from either their address book or from an email they received with your address in it as well. There are other addresses in their address book that are no longer valid. When the virus tries to propagate itself, it chooses various email addresses it has found as both "from" and "to" addresses. When yours is chosen as a "from", and an invalid one as a "to", YOU get the bounce. Encourage everyone you know to NOT include you when they send carbon-copied emails.

    I am also suffering from a similar problem and have ran various virus checkers and use zone alarm as well as ad aware, spybot et al. Very frustrating.
    mmphoneman. I get about one hundred a day! :p
