Hey is there an easy way to keep track of what you have installed and when on your hard drive?? I mean there has to be some program out there that will do it for you. Is there a simple way to do it in Windows?

    Thanks rolleyes

I try and keep as much stuff out of "Program Files" as I can.
I set up 2 extra Folders.

One is "Keepers" where I keep programs such as ""CCleaner", "Opera", Firefox", etc. Programs that you usually know you are going to keep.

The second is "Testing". The name is self evident. here you load programs that you want to test and don't know if you want to keep. Periodically you shift (uninstall and re-install) programs from "Testing" to "Keepers" if you decide to keep them.

Alternatively you uninstall "Testing" programs that you don't like or want.

Some programs are poorly programmed that default to "Program Files" but there is not much you can do about that.

    Hope this helps.
