Keeping Drivers Up To Date?

Hi Geeks.
I was wondering about DriverEasy (paid).
Is it safe to use or does something better exist, I have only heard good things about it.
What is your opinion good or bad?
You could say it is a little too late because I have already purchased it, but I would like to hear from you(geeks) if there is something I should be aware off.

It isn’t bad but it doesn’t seem to update certain drivers like Intel. I found DE to be useful in the past as there’s no newer drivers from the PC manufacturer, but the last few years it’s been missing many drivers that other driver update software has offered. When I reported the missing drivers I’m told DE doesn’t offer those drivers for download so it has become useless.
I upgrade graphics via Intel & nVidia.
There’s also DriverBooster which is free but some drivers require the paid version in order to update them. It seems a bit dodgy though, I’ve had the paid version in the past & it has stated no driver updates available, I’ve then uninstalled it & installed the free version which has then said there’s drivers available but that I’d have to purchase the software. Upon entering my key I’m told no drivers are available.

I would recommend using disk imaging software in case of problems after updating any drivers. DriverBooster is notorious for installing incorrect drivers imo.

Driver booster is good to update drivers. I have been using Iobit since 1.0.

But here is a little tip for AMD users. When updating AMD Radeon software use the Radeon app to do this. Select ignore for updating through driver booster. It can cause issues. With the driver version.

I am not sure how this would affect intel drivers. But i do know it affects AMD.

Click on the Gear for settings.

 

Hi @XoXgaming , I do not even trust DriverEasy when it comes to AMD Graphics, I always use the AMD App.

 

If you do a web search on driver easy it's considered as scam software.
