Kernal_stack_inpage_error

Greetings,

My cpu has being going to the blue screen with this (and other somewhaqt various) messages for well over a year. I've just put up with it for this long. I've re-installed XP SP2 at least 12 times. I have no idea what's causing it. I have a Athlon64XD Core 2 Duo CPU, 2Gig Turbo Memory/RAM, GeoForce7800GT (something like that graphics card). I have the ASUS cd & XFX driver cd's that came with the computer (HD is on SATA cable). It's custom built (by my friend who worked at GeekSquad for 5 years so I know he knew what he was doing). I usually run sometimes 5 programs at a time, internet w/3 or 4 tabs, Winamp, Online Game (Street Fighter, small), and anti-virus. I'm assuming it's the RAM, but I'm not sure what kind of memory diagnostic test to use, or if that's even the problem.

When this happened today my cpu had been on for almost 2 days and I just re-installed windows yesterday. Happened out of the blue. Then when I let it dump the physical memory (which I always do so it restarts itself [don't know if I should do that or not]). Then when I let it turn back on, as soon as my desktop appeared and it started loading the quicklaunch icons it froze again and went to blue with this message:

an error occurred crucial to system operation, (something like that)
0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x899BA0E8, and two others)

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
