When they catch these virus writers, they should give a few of us regular computer users a few minutes alone with them in a small room. :-D

 

Imagine if they put that knowledge to something good.

I had a friend once who did... started as a virus writer for fun, ended up getting a real job writing the cleaning tools for a anti-virus company.

Oh brother. They tout these things every year and every year nothing happens.

Anyway, you have to remember that the virus writers have effectively infinite resources, so they can always out smart the companies. But not us.

 

I guess I'll get me a roll of stamps from the post office, my rotary phone out the closet and my rabbit ear antenna from the attic and my old Schwin 10 speed out of the garage. Along with my canned spam. I'm now prepared for anything now
