Key commands not working on Firefox 2

Hello!

I just installed Firefox 2. I did not upgrade from an earlier version, as I reinstalled the computer before I did it, so this was a fresh install of FF. I'm running windows xp pro.

For some strange reason the tab key won't work in Firefox. If I try to log in to my mail for example, and I want to "tab" from addy to password field, nothing happens. Nothing is wrong with the keyboard, tab key works fine on IE and other programs. Alt-tab also works like a charm.

Also, I don't seem to be able to use the shortcuts Ctrl C and Ctrl V for copy and paste from web sites to email and forums etc. I can copy from a text body and paste, but I can't select text on a website and paste it in to a text body. The F1 for Help does not work either, so I think this is a general command problem.

Anyone heard of issues like this in regards to Firefox 2 ? I have tried to search for the answer, but finding it difficult to find what I'm looking for, you can imagine how many hits I get with search words like Firefox and Tab...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Never mind... Figured it out.

Disabled the extensions one by one, and found the culprit. One of my favorite extensions, Paste & Go caused the problem!

Ah well, maybe it will be updated at some point!

 

All the time I have used online forums, I have used ALT-S to submit my posts so I did not have to take my hands off the keyboard.

That command now maps to HiStory in FF 2.0.

 

Aww that is too bad!

I have acquired a nasty habit of pressing the ctrl key most of the time, as I do that on a game I play... Pressing a bookmark with the ctrl button pressed causes the bookmark to download to desktop... Habits don't die easily!

I'm very happy though, Paste and Go earlier version works, so I am on that till a new update is released!
