Keyboard Error

    When I boot up my XP computer, before it ever gets to windows, I get the following mesage

    Keyboard error or no keyboard connected

    It tells me to press F1 or Delete but pressing either one has no results. The computer just stays at that screen, never goes to windows

    Have tried several different keyboards, no results. One of the keyboards I tried came off my other computer so I know it's good.

    HELP!!

    ps2, not good to plug or unplug when PC is on, sensitive port!
    Might try USB keyboard?
