Keyboard issue

    Hi. I have a Microsoft Multimedia keyboard and usually it doesn't work when I start the PC so I have to restart it. It gets really annoying because sometimes I have to restart it 3 times to get it working. I checked the IRQ settings with FreshDiagnose and nothing seems to conflict with it. I also installed new drivers but it keeps happening. What should I do now?

    Is it a USB keyboard or Ps/2?

    Sounds like a communication error between the keyboard and the mobo.

    Grab yourself another PS/2 keyboard and see if that works every time.

    Try a USB keyboard and see if that works every time.

    If the answer is yes to both of them then its your keyboard that has issues, if the answer is no to ps/2 and yes to USB then its Mobo/PC related and not the keyboard.
