Keyboard/Mouse not working in PS2

    My keyboard and mouse and both USB but I have USB to PS2 converters so I plug them into the green and purpleish PS2 ports on the back on my computer.. but for some reason its not working. When i start the computer, the keyboard lights blink like 3 or 4 times and thats it, it doesnt work. The mouse lights up, but doesn't work.

    If I plug them into the USB ports they work.. but I need PS2! :(

    Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

    **NOTE - it was working prefectly a couple days ago.. but my video card got fried, so i got a replacement.. and now.. they just don't work! (coincidence?)

    Help PLZ :confused:
