keyboard not recognised HELP

When loading a new OS my keyboard will not work, it's OK up to the point where
it wants you to put in your language, can't type anything, mouse is dead too.
I have had this trouble in the past but have always been able to use an old keyboard with the round plug, but there is not one on this board it's USB only.
I have tried reloading the OS with the idea of loading a driver when it gives you the option to load drivers,, but the keyboard will no work. I'm stuck, HELP
P.S I am also getting a CPU fan error even when there is no fan fitted.

I take the point, the problem was this being a USB keyboard was that I had pluged it into a USB 3 socket, when I put in the right socket (USB2) it worked. simple realy, but did anybody come up with answer. I keep trying, and usually get there in the end.

They may have, if given time. Since we are all volunteers here, and we all have other commitments, and since you posted over the weekend, responses often are not as timely or quick as we would like. But I note "trying a different USB port" is a common recommendation and solution for this type problem.

And that's great! That's often the best way to learn. But again, sharing our mistakes, fixes, and experiences is how we all learn.
