My daughter has had problems with her mouse and keyboard, we purchased a new mouse which works fine, but she tells me her keyboard will not work.

I haven't be able to check it at this time, but I did check on my cp and I saw under crt/alt/delt there was a "lock keyboard" item. I wonder if you can tell me if the keyboard might be locked and if that would be the problem, what could I do to release it.

    Thanks!!!

If the keyboard is locked, press windows logo + L to unlock it.

If this does not work: how is the keyboard connected? PS/2 or USB. Did the connector accidentally came loose while connecting the mouse? If it's a PS/2 keyboard: are there any bent pins on the connector?

Thanks for the heads-up. As soon as I saw your note about pins, I remembered she plug the keyboard plug in and I know she had problems, I did find a bent pin, which I straigtened and it works.'

    Thanks
