keyboard Problem

    Needing help, my laptop space bar has just stopped working , is there anybody that has an idea to fix this ,or is the small clips underneath the space bar needing replaced or is a software issue any help would be great , thanks

    If your keyboard is broke then you will likely have to replace it. its not that dificult to do though you may get a spare of ebay.

    Hello again Paul ;)

    when you say that the spacebar is not working any more, is the key not depressing and not springing back ?? if that is the case then they are pretty easy to fix, you will need a small flathead screwdriver, then carefully lift the key at each corner so it clicks out of its clips,you can buy keys and fittings off ebay,just replace the fittings and secure by pressing firmly on each corner of the key, can you give me the make and model of your laptop.. it will help in finding how to remove the keyboard, just in case you need to remove it.

    its just the space bar that is not working the rest of the keyboard is fine , i removed the key and the clips also and cleaned it but still no joy, the laptop is a toshiba equium a200
