Hello guys. After being out for the day, and leaving my computer on, when I returned, it was in standby mode. I attempted to 'wake it up' and nothing happend. I then examened that the keyboard and mouse were both off. I then switched the computer off, and back on again, only to have the same problem and not be able to log into windows because I couldnt enter my password. So now i'm stuck. The keyboard won't work. But now the mouse does. I have tried multipal keyboards, one being USP and the other PS/2. I have tried the USP in all the ports on my computer, even the one that the mouse is working fine in. Lastly I took a PS/2 to USP converter and tried that. Still no luck. Is this a common problem? Is there an easy remedy that I'm missing? Please help!

Welcome to Major Geeks, sounds like it maybe a "corrupted" Keyboard Driver, try reloading the driver that came with the Keyboard & Mouse, and the obvious if it is a wireless Keyboard is the battery Okay............Hey don't laugh you would be amazed at how many times this is overlooked. Hope that helps and again Welcome to Major Geeks
