keyboard types jibberish

Hi,

Not sure which topic this question should go in.

My keyboard has suddenly freaked out.

The first two I type are usually what I typed, however then it begins to show numbers and wrong letters

'No physical damage', i.e. spill or drop.

This just suddenly started today.

 

'should' and 'has'... sorry

 

Have you rebooted? Silly question, but you would be surprised how many odd glitches are solved by it.

 

Lol... yes I have, several times but a good question too... and I've ran norton, superantispyware and malwarebytes more than once too...

And I've went into device manage and it says it is working properly... and I right clicked it and scanned it for errors with no results... I'm stumped

 

Is it wireless or corded?

What do your language settings show in control panel?

Is this in any application?

 

If a laptop, are you sure that Numlock isn't on?
