keyboard won't work

hey

ok...all of a sudden my keyboard and mouse stopped working! im using the onscreen board now.

my mouse works now because it was in the mouse port, but i took the extension off, plugged it into a usb port and it now works.

i dont have a usb keyboard though. i tried a different board, but nothing. i went into CP and then keyboards and it says nothing under hardware.

what did i do? :cry

Nevermind, i fixed it. Stupid me.. I must have accidently pulled it out by pressing against a wire or something and then forgot to turn my PC off before I reconnected it. Turned it off, reconnected, turned it on.. and voila.
