Have a new keyboard for a XP system. It will start printing random letters rather than what is keyed in after 10-20 minutes of use. Old keyboard did the same.
Is there a keyboard driver that can be removed and reinstalled?
Where is it located and what is the procedure? Or is there another likely problem?

If two keyboards are doing the same thing, then there's a really good chance that the keyboard controller on the motherboard is failing. If possible, boot your PC into a non-Windows environment (like olde-tyme Win98 DOS) and see if the keyboard misbehaves there too. If it does, then it's 99% chance that your motherboard is on it's way out. However, if you're using a USB keyboard, switch to PS2. Or if using a PS2 keyboard, try a USB keyboard. If you have one of those Dell PCs with no PS2 ports, then you can try installing a USB controller card into one of your PCI slots (they're very inexpensive: under $20 at just about any PC shop, about half that on Newegg) and see if that solves it.
