Hello, I've been doing a search on KillBox and trying to find support. I sent an email to KB and got no reply. When I use KB it always says not responding and I need to get it going with the task manager. Does anyone know of a forum for KillBox? I have questions about it. If there is something similar to KB, I'm open for suggestions. When there is no support, a userware is useless. I'll read the suggestion, a little killbox help please on this forum. TY

    System:Windows xp3.

What OS are you using? An alternative is Avenger. But it would be good to know what you are trying to kill first.

The OS is Windows xp3. What is Avenger and where can I read about it?

Most of these tool, such as Killbox and Avenger are not going to have a lot of info out there. They are mostly used by malware fighters. If you tell me what file you are trying to remove, I will give you the fix with Avenger.

Right now, ZillaPopupKiller and Avanquest. For the most part, I was looking for the reason KB becomes un-responsive. Everytime I use it, it hangs up and I was wondering if it needed to be re-installed and what steps to take before uninstallng/re-installing it. TY for the quick reply.

You can try uninstalling it and reinstalling to see if that fixes it. But to remove anything, you need to have the full path to the file or the folder.

I use Revo Un-installer. Should I remove KB with it and then re-install?

Avanquest has been a on going problem I still have a trace somewhere and Avanquest is finley give support after 2 yrs. rolleyes but not solved yet.
My Belarc report and Windows Security Center tells me that there's 2 anti- virus systems running. I just switched to Avira as Avast's new edition kept asking for a password and support says they can't offer a complete solution.

I un-installed ZillaWare, I think it was called, awhile ago and in a HiJack this los ZillaPopupKiller shows up. I'm fairly new to PC use and learning as I go. The Zilla thing was a mistake from the beginning.rolleyes

Sure. And you can use it for Avanquest as well. Then run CCleaner to remove left overs.

You should be able to do a search for any Avast leftovers .....;)

You shouldn't be needing Killbox or Avenger to remove any of that.

I used Avast un-installer per Avast support to un-install it. I ran all the un-installers and I've been using CClean for years and I'm just learning more about it. I did all this is Safe Mode. Would there still be left-overs?
    Man, Thanks for the help.

Sounds to me like you covered all your bases! ;)

Have you checked out MA's video tutorial on CCleaner?

What is MA's video? Get me a link and I'll check it out. I know that the newer versions are a lot faster to use. The older versions took along time to run.
