killing start-up programs

    I cant' seem to kill ewido's security guard.
    Can't do it through MS-antispyware or even WinPatrol.
    Tried it through run-services.msc, still nothing.
    Do i have to go directly to the registry and rip it out of there somewhere?
    If so, where? thanks:cool::cool::cool:

    did you try with msconfig and click startup check if it is there....

    The msconfig is type in the run box...

    Is Ewido uninstalled? it maybe one of those persistant apps that adds itself to the startup list, even tho you delete it from the RUN hives.

    in the registry you would need to look for the runs are...........

    i try not to use msconfig, remember posting about start-up before and someone said that in the benchmarks, any start-ups touched through msconfig actually slow things down and sure enough they were right.

    didn't uninstall it yet, waiting for the free trial to expire.
