King Tut World Tour

If anyone is into travel or interested in historical exhibitions, there's this one which I'm waiting to come to Sydney of King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh.

There's also a few other places one can virtually travel. Having been to Warwick Castle, I was thrilled to come across this virtual tour:

At the time, there was a medieval knight in full dress, on a fabulous horse riding around outside Warwick Castle - whom I immediately approached and asked to have a photo taken with (yes...shamefully touristy...but made for a great memory to keep forever!)

Great way to "travel" during these Covid-19 times... check it out.

Actually, I must be getting old...I had seen an exhibition "Gold of the Pharoahs" at our Museum in Sydney. It was simply fabulous. I ended up buying a couple of books from the exhibition (which are sitting on my library shelf ) that also had items from the British Museum .

 

Now how beautiful is that!? Really lovely features.

But the way the Royals married siblings to maintain "purity of blood lines" would have produced health issues. Like King Tut's health problems, I reckon a lot of his health issues were probably based on incestuous family lines.

 

Heh, heh, heh...I said Tut, not rump...'though the rump seems to think he's royalty and maybe Rudy thinks there's some relationship there
