Kodah hd video will not play on HP 3500 amd athlon 64 bit

Bought a new Kodak camera and most people tell me I need new computer, but this computer not that old and any help would be appreciated. After looking through facts, thought I'd better ask before trying myself as no exp in overclocking. Videos are sketchy, with just a little more speed might play?

Just downloaded a benchmark tester and about to run. the kodak v1253 camera captures video in HD, as I understand the compression algorithm requires either a duel core or a very fast single processor. will post benchmark score and can post belarc if that will be helpful

 

the recommened requirements should be more than enough

do u have a video card(not onboard)

Hey thanks, using the factory installed card, I did add some ram though. I found an app today to convert that works well and found that I can adjust the format in my camera to below HD, so I'm going to try that. I use roxio to play with multi media and the playback is less that perfect. so maybe over clocking is not the answer, maybe I need an upgraded video card?
