    I just got KODI from this site as my Media Player.

    I got the File called
    kodi-17.6-Krypton-x86.exe

    I see a lot of Videos on YouTube about how you can use KODI as an OS.

    So if you Build a Computer you can have KODI as the Operating System.

    And how you can use KODI to watch Streaming Movies.

    Is what they are talking about the same KODI File I got?

    No, Kodi is available for multiple operating systems.
    It's not an OS.
