So what are your opinions on COH? Is there a monthly charge to play online? Looked at the features and the screenshots, looks pretty cool.

 

there is a montly charge. Iceman had an extra copy and 60 day card and he gave it to me (mr.generous!) . I like the game, though it can get slow at times. If you get a good team going, then you can kick some serious butt. It doesn't start to get really cool until you get up in the higher levels of course.

 

I am afraid!!...

The skating looked good, but why do you only get a tan on your face? Do you walk around in a full body wrap or something?

Thanks Jim. Can you give me a little insight as to waht you guys do in this game? Do you just meet up with Tim and go kick peoples butt's or take over there cities or something?

I think this game is going on my bday wishlist

 

for the most part you hook up with your friends or supergroup (if you belong to one) or maybe create a little team on the fly and you do missions or you can hunt in the various cities.

You can create your own superhero. with its' own origin of powers including how it looks.

As you progress with experienc, you get more powers or new sockets to add enhancements to those powers. There are a tons of combinations.

Mostly though, it's all about kicking ass. In the future, there will be another game called City Of Villians which I believe will allow you combat Hero's vs. Villians who are human players. Currently in COH, the bad guys are all bots.
