L.o.t.r. B.f.m.e.

I just upgraded my vid card to Pci-e and My games are working funny...
TH pro skt 2 --wont go left...and theres a lag in the game ...Esc and other keys take to long on the screen to view...

Anyways..My L.O.T.R. is all screwy.....My mouse play is ok..but my keyboard movements go off to the corners of the map... and wont return for a while...

I chaged Keyboards and re installed the game and the results are the same...]

These are my specs...

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Nvidia-NF-CK804 socket 939
ATI Radeon X1300 Pci-e --512 mb
Patriot 1g ddr 3200
NVIDIA MCP04--Audio
Maxtor 60g ATA 133

LITE-ON DVDRW LH-16W1P
Antec - SP 350
Raidmaxx- Scorpio -Atx case

It was working fine with my ATi Radeon 7000 PCI 32MB..
wHEN I ADDED THE PCI-E some games went wrong...
I downloaded the new Catalyst Drivers and still the same...
Plugged in the extra mb pci-e power plug...the one one the board and ..still the same...

Can anyone help me...

 

Do you have a pci-e plug from the PSU to plug directly into the gfx card?

 

The psu plug is standard ide plug..
and does not plug into the Ati card ..only to the mb..

 

Most PCI-E cards require power directly from the psu not the mobo to run properly. You may need to update your psu. see if you can borrow one to try before buying one to make sure.

Game was working fine on a Antec SL-350....A WEEK AGO...
Updated to an Antec SP-350 because the board req a 24+ and a 4+

Antec -Sl 350 is only 20+ and 4+.....

Problem is mostly L.O.T.R. and ThPro Sskt 2 ....
Quake 4 ,,Medal..of Hon...Call. of Duty.. Doom..3...ARE all ok...
so is Timeshift and Riddic esc....

 

ahh ok, I thought it was all games my bad. In that case prolly not. Presume you got all the latest drivers, mobo gfx card etc etc?

 

Yes ..new Nforce 4 drivers...Ati catalist drivers....
Even Kb drivers...still screwy....

But the games worked fine on my Biostar board ..socket 754..With 256 Nvidia agp...

Its weierd huh...
