LAAAAAAaaaaaag.

I just got halo and whenever more than about 3 covie b***** com onto the screen my computer lags like **** I don't get it, my computer exceeds the requirements by a lot and I have it on the lowest settings. I am using

1.6 ghz P4
80gb 7200rpm hd
512mb ram
GeForce 5200FX

What would be the best thing to upgrade? is there any way to inprove performance without new hardware?

ok, we just upgraded our vid card, we needed it to play WoW and we weren't expecting it so we traded in an external HDD for it at a local computer store, before we had an nvidia TNT2 32mb. That was liek 3 months ago. I want a 6600GT

 

ok, thanks. ZI would upgrade but I am saving up for my own computer, so i will have to try to convince my dad that you haven't played WoW until youve played it on a 6600gt, my dad is completely obsessed with that game.

 

no say you havent used a computer untill you use it with a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX (512mb) and ever have the feeling ironforge was ironlag?
not any more this card is so powerfull you wont need a new card for 5 years ( atleast i dont couse its realy expensive and i dont have any more money to buy any thing else )

try to get your dad to buy the 7800 GTX card its worth it + you get a free copy of Call Of Duty 2 (rules)
