labeling cables?

    Any good ideas for labeling cables? Paper labels don't last very long so I'm looking for new ideas. Thanks

    Molecular imprinting? I use a strip of duct table, across the ribbon. I'm looking to upgrade to round ones. Those I'll be color coding.

    There are cable ties available that have tabs on them for writing (with a Sharpie or other permanent ink)

    Where would I find these? I've tried Office Max and Depot.

    They can be found at (some) electric supply outlets; or on-line (I typed "cable ties" on Google search, there's a couple ;)
